Palm olein is the liquid fraction derived during palm oil fractionation which at room temperature is a clear yellow liquid. Palm olein is a common frying and cooking oil which we supply the grades CP10, CP9 and CP8.

Palm olien is used as cooking oil in many Asian and South American cooking. Palm olein is the edible part of the oil palm that is fractionated and separated from the solid strearine fraction and sold as cooking oil. This transparent yellow liquid at room temperature can stay crystal-free during storage.

Palm olein is the liquid fraction derived during palm oil fractionation which at room temperature is a clear yellow liquid. Palm olein is a common frying and cooking oil which we supply in grades  CP10, CP9 and CP8.

There are three categories of Palm Olien, namely.

Palm Oil Grades

CP10

Palm Olein CP10 allows to decrease oil absorption while cooking due to its saturate-protected composition. Its tasteless and odorless natures will assist in allowing to taste the food and not the taste of oil when consumed.

CP8

Palm Olein CP8 allows it to last longer when used for frying and is very stable and cost effective when used as a deep frying oil due to its properties . It is made from finest quality Palm Olein which is cholesterol free and carries vitamin-E.

CP6

Olein CP6 is a Softer Olein generated by fractionating Standard Olein.  Palm Oil CP6 is mostly utilised in the bottling industry.

Palm Olien CP-6, synonym with Super Olien is a softer type of Olien with the maximum possible fluidity. The Super Olien has a higher iodine value of 60 or above, provides better clarity and has a lower tendency to turn cloudy than normal olien. CP6 is more suited for cooler climates as it has cloud points between 2oC to 6oC. The Super Olien does not change the taste of the fried food as it does not have a distinctive smell.
